PENGARUH KURS EURO TERHADAP JAKARTA ISLAMIC INDEX

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the Euro exchange rate on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII), which is a shariah-compliant stock index reflecting the performance of stocks adhering to Islamic principles in the Indonesian capital market. In this study, we utilize historical data on Euro exchange rate changes and JII price changes over a specific time period. Quantitative analysis is conducted to identify the relationship between Euro exchange rate fluctuations and JII price changes. The findings of this research provide a deeper understanding of the relationship between Euro exchange rate changes and JII prices. The study reveals a significant correlation between Euro exchange rate fluctuations and JII price movements, indicating that changes in the Euro exchange rate have a notable impact on the upward or downward movement of stock prices within this index.
